The critically acclaimed Cinema16 series continues with American Short Films, which will be released on DVD in the UK in May 2006/ Amongst the A-list directors confirmed are George Lucas, Tim Burton, Alexander Payne, Todd Solondz, Gus van Sant and DA Pennebaker. Pennebaker’s Duke Ellington scored Daybreak Express; Todd Solondz’ NYU short Feelings; along with Oscar winner The Lunch Date by Adam Davidson, Stefan Nadelman’s multi-award winning documentary Terminal Bar, Joe Nussbaum’s cult classic George Lucas in Love, and this year’s Sundance winner The Wraith of Cobble Hill by Adam Parrish King.
